A continuing Westminster Thurber Rehab care retirement community doubles its private rehabilitation apartments, giving guests a new way to recuperate.
Westminster-Thurber Community's The Rehab Studios now has 36 private studio apartments, featuring full bathrooms; cable TV; directelephonene lines; daily housekeeping; delicious dining and 24/7 nursing care.
After a joint-replacement surgery, cardiac incident, stroke or other neurological condition, hospital patients needs spots to heal, recover and transition -- many reserving their apartments in advance.
"We work hard to get people ready physically, emotionally and mentally so they casupervisege their lives independently again," says Marketing Director Joel Wrobbel.
A team of experts assesses each rehab guest and develops a personalized therapprograman Westminster Thurber Rehab that may include traditional therapies, such as physical; occupational and speech therapies, and/or alternative therapies such as ultrasound.
