Our experienced staff will help provide you with the support you need to improve self-esteem, interpersonal relationships, and family interactions, as well as build up a healthier lifestyle overall and a strong support network. Social recovery is key: it is important to acknowledge that addiction is a sickness of isolation best overcome through a lifetime lived in supportive communities.
Potential candidates for this program include male and female adults who are chemically dependent, have a history of relapse, or whose environment or lifestyle and skills indicate a high potential fobackslidingse.
Duration of stay in long-term treatment ranges from 90 to 120 days. The Turning Point Rehabilitation Treatment emphasis is on relapse prevention and the development of life skills, including formulation and completion of a GED when necessary, job search skills and financial management including payment of fines and child support, if applicable. In addition, parenting classes and anger management are included in the treatment plan.
The goal of this program is to help the client make a successfulconversionn from full-time treatment in a secure environment to their actual living environment.
Clients are encouraged tholdin a local sponsor with whom they can attend Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings in the community, participate in sober activities sponsored by various groups, and seek recreational activities consistent with sober living.

Treatment is individualized based on client’s needs and duration of stay is variable. Successful completion is based on emission criteria established by the treatment team and attainment of treatment goals.
A multi-disciplinary team consisting of a medical director, nurses, addiction counselors and a consulting psychologist staff this unit.
Treatment includes group therapy, specialty groups, including relapse prevention and anger management, and educational lectures five days perworkweekk. Individual counseling sessions are conducted a minimum of twice a week. Clients participate in several recreational activities. Clients are either transferred to community Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings or attend AA/NA meetings on campus every evening. All the constituents of the AA and NA programs are consistent with helping clients achieve treatment goals.
We recognize the need for family participation andlivingt. A family program is held every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. To 2:00 p.m. This includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is no admission charge for this program. Family members who participate may visit from 2:00-5:00 p.m. After the finale of the program. Visitation is also permitted on Sunday afternoons for 2 hours. Visitors must be okayed by the client’s counselor prior to visitation.
